I have to go with Olaf Beerson. He has a great beard & a fantastic name, but underneath all of that he has the ability to bring aboard more sailors. There is nothing like a top notch crew & with Olaf Beerson aboard you can hire a new sailer & then hire a second one once you reach port. On the open sea fighting the navy, having more scurvy dogs as your allies gives a big advantage. The more the merrier with Olaf Beerson at your side.
