No Man’s Land Expansion – what does it change?

51st State: No Man’s Land is an expansion introducing area control mechanism to 51st State, a popular strategy card game by Ignacy Trzewiczek (Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, Detective: Modern Crime Board Game, Empires of the North).

The final outpost

Hiding among the detritus of the old world, you stand with a trusted few and study the map. The Commander struts in under the dim light and slams her fist upon the table—you’ll head east—following the rumors, hoping against hope that the final outpost is still standing…

Add area control to the game

The No Man’s Land State Pack introduces an area control experience to 51st State card game. Build your Outposts on a shared Map, upgrade them to get better Goods and amplify your defenses. Don’t let your Outposts fall—once you’re removed from the Map, you’ll have to depend on your State alone!

What’s new

  • Area Control mechanism: 9 Terrain cards make up a map where a battle for domination between players takes place
  • Outposts: Build and develop your Outposts to gain access to the most profitable areas.
  • New solo rules: Check out how new Outpost rules influence the solo mode in 51st State!

We are bookworms. Movie maniacs. Story addicts. We grew up reading Tolkien, Howard, Herbert, Dick, Lem… We were watching Willow, Blade Runner, Never Ending Story, Robin Hood…

And yet, we don’t write books… we don’t make movies. We don’t make those things, because we make games. We make games that tell stories.
