This is Ignacy Trzewiczek from Portal Games, and this is my letter from Poland to you. Today I will tell you about my crazy adventures with Tik Tok!
I started posting on TikTok a few years ago. The views were not super awesome, but I wanted to be consistent, so I kept posting. The stats for my videos were weird, people watched like 1.2 second and were done.
It hurt.
It hurt till the very moment I dug into extended data and found out that TikTok app was showing my videos to Polish viewers, instead of viewers in the US.
Suddenly the fact that viewers were scrolling me out made sens. You are Polish fan of board games. Some dude talks in English. You scroll.
So I lost hope and abandon TikTok. And then my awesome wife asked “Why don’t you use VPN. Everyone uses VPN these days.”
So I downloaded VPN, I clicked that I live in New York and started posting. Eagerly looked into extended data and found out that most views I had in London, UK.
Whaaat?
I posted another video, and most views I had in Warsaw, Poland.
What the hell…
That became family affair. My 17 year old daughter said “Let me try.”
I gave her pass to Portal Games TikTok, she hit VPN, she posted. I looked into the data – viewers from the US.
I did the same from my mobile phone – most views Warsaw, again.
She posted another TikTok – views in the US.
I posted another TikTok – views in Poland.
So now I am taking it personally. What you might notice, I started posting my TikToks on my Twitter, on my Bluesky, on my FB, on my YouTube – this is war. This is war to reach you and make my short forms reach the US, over the pond, north to Gulf of Mexico, I mean, America… 😉
Ah, one more thing – we sent Age of Galaxy to print. Pretty important and big news, but you know, this TikTok thing drives me craaazy…

There are those among us who love to study every rulebook, reading it cover to cover multiple times to become the ultimate authority on game rules. Others reluctantly force themselves to read the manual, praying that one read-through will suffice. And then there are those who patiently wait for someone else to explain the game to them.
Imperial Miners app obviously includes a built-in tutorial that lets you jump straight into gameplay and learn the rules as you go. We’ve also prepared a gameplay video where the rules are explained during the session. This video is accessible directly from the app. And for those who consider reading the rulebook second nature, the app provides a link to a detailed PDF rulebook, so you’ll always have it handy!
