What do you need to know about Beasts?

Meet the Beasts – the new army in the Neuroshima Hex app we are working on! What can you expect from the Beasts?

Beasts is an extremely aggressive faction with high mobility and high Initiative. The new army represents various animal species that survived Moloch’s attack. These beasts are fierce, and they have but a single goal: to protect their territory. They spare no one, including their own. The expansion introduces a new game concept – friendly fire. Ferocity and wrath are unstoppable and units in the new army can damage their own friendly tiles. The Agony ability allows Beasts to perform an additional attack before death, and the Vulture unit may move to any empty space on the board after the Battle. But be careful not to introduce too many Beasts into the game at once, or they will start attacking each other!

The Neuroshima Hex app is based on the highly acclaimed tabletop game Neuroshima Hex in which players engage in tense battles set in the post-apocalyptic world. The goal of the game is to destroy enemy HQ by placing troops on the hexagonal game board and triggering their abilities. Each of the 4 factions in the base game (more factions available in the expansions) plays differently, having its own unique set of units with distinct abilities. The order they come to play and their placement on the board make each game play completely different resulting in a high replay value. The tabletop game has already been published in 8 languages and enjoyed by fans all over the world. Throughout the years, Portal Games has been steadily developing the game, which now offers as many as 21 differently playing factions.

Neuroshima Hex mobile app is available for purchase at iOS App and Google Play stores.

Welcome to PORTAL GAMES

We are bookworms. Movie maniacs. Story addicts. We grew up reading Tolkien, Howard, Herbert, Dick, Lem… We were watching Willow, Blade Runner, Never Ending Story, Robin Hood…

And yet, we don’t write books… we don’t make movies. We don’t make those things, because we make games. We make games that tell stories.
