Hello!
I would like to inform you about the current status of our work of our Thorgal: The Board Game project. Here are the key updates:
Late Pledge
For all of you who were debating if you are interested in Thorgal – the late pledge option is still available. If any of you haven’t joined our backers yet, there is still a chance to participate in the campaign and receive all the associated benefits.
All scenarios ready!
We are thrilled to announce that the design for all the scenarios, including the GF exclusive, has been completed. We are currently conducting internal tests to refine the details and ensure that each scenario offers a fantastic and satisfying experience.
Rulebook in the works
During the campaign we made the early rulebook available for fans. It was the early version. Currently, we are focusing on the revisions of the next versions of the rulebook. The goal is to make the instructions clear and easy to understand for all players. We are working hard to provide you with the best quality. We will publish new version online for you at some point to get another wave of your feedback and critical look.
Material samples
In the meantime our production team is also busy – our factory is diligently preparing the materials for the production of individual game components. This stage is crucial as we aim to guarantee high-quality craftsmanship for each element.
Editors busy too
Editing work is also underway for the English version of the game. Our team is dedicated to refining the translation and ensuring that the text is fluid and aligned with our vision. Reminder – we have native speakers as editors, so you should not be worried that Portal Games is Polish company and English is our second language.
Translations
The Polish and German versions are transitioning from translating the narrative layer to the mechanical layer. By narrative layer we mean all the flavor text, paragraphs, scenario intros etc.
