This week’s premieres – Robinson Crusoe: Treasure Chest and Monolith Arena: Golems

Two of our expansions are having their premiere this Thursday in our European store. Treasure Chest is a highly-anticipated set of so-far-released promos to Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on a Cursed Island. Monolith Arena: Golems is a new army pack with brand-new features.

Robinson Crusoe: Treasure Chest is the complete collection of every promo released thus far—created both by the Portal Games team, and creative fans from around the world. Here you will find new Scenarios that present completely new adventures: encountering cruel poachers, following the footsteps of Doctor Livingstone, boarding the Time Machine, experiencing an adventure in Neverland, and setting out for a quest on Treasure Island. The Treasure Chest also grants access to new Characters and Crewmen as well as ways to diversify your gameplay with Searching the Beach cards. For the players who need a few new surprises, we have added new cards to shuffle into existing decks—bonus Shelter Upgrades, as well as Feature, Mystery, and Event cards. All of this, and more.

EUROPEAN PREMIERE: 29.10.2020

USA PREMIERE:  26.11.2020

Monolith Arena: Golems allows players to take on the role of Constructors and create their mighty Golems on the arena. Golems excel at strength and toughness but are limited by their building process. Playing as Golems introduces a new mechanism represented by two-sided champions’ tiles: Golems get damaged instead of getting wounded and can be raised back by their Constructors.

EUROPEAN PREMIERE: 29.10.2020

USA: AVAILABLE IN STORE

Both games are available in US Store of course (but are not having their premiere this week).

Welcome to PORTAL GAMES

We are bookworms. Movie maniacs. Story addicts. We grew up reading Tolkien, Howard, Herbert, Dick, Lem… We were watching Willow, Blade Runner, Never Ending Story, Robin Hood…

And yet, we don’t write books… we don’t make movies. We don’t make those things, because we make games. We make games that tell stories.
